ThrottleCross

MEDIA CREDENTIALS · 2026-27 SEASON

ThrottleCross media credentials.

Credentials go to people on editorial assignment from an accredited outlet. Apply at least 14 days before the first event you need, with your assignment letter attached.

Who qualifies

Media access is for people on editorial assignment from an accredited media outlet: TV and radio networks and stations, daily newspapers, news services, racing and motorsports publications, and websites and podcasts that are recognized and cover the sport routinely. If that isn't you, the request won't be approved.

How to apply

  • Apply at least 14 days before the first event you need. Requests that arrive later are not acknowledged.
  • Attach an assignment letter from your editor or publisher, on behalf of the assigned reporter.
  • Freelance reporters, photographers and videographers need an assignment from an accredited outlet, and the letter has to say so. Pure freelance requests are not approved.
  • Marketing and advertising reps from approved publications, teams and sponsors are credentialed only on editorial assignment.
  • Credentials go to authorized people only, for timely coverage of the event. Approval is at the sole discretion of ThrottleCross.

Dress

Shirts and shoes at all times. No sandals. Dress wrong and you'll be asked to fix it or give up the credential.

Event rules

Follow every event rule. Not sure about one? Ask the media manager or event security. Don't start working until you know the rules.

Photos

Every photo taken at the event is the property of ThrottleCross. Websites may post still images from any event. Commercial or retail use needs written consent from ThrottleCross and from every rider shown. ThrottleCross can ask you to take down any unapproved photo.

Video

No video of any kind without written approval from ThrottleCross first. Approved crews can shoot in the pits and on the track. All footage is the property of ThrottleCross. Shoot without approval and you lose your credential and the footage. ThrottleCross can ask you to take down any unapproved video.

Track access

Only approved photographers and videographers get track and infield access. No other media go on the track.

  • Work only where you can get the shot without putting yourself or a rider at risk.
  • Never stand on the track or at its edge, and never interfere with the race. Keep a safe distance from the marked edge of the track at all times.
  • Don't block a camera or sponsor signage, and don't get in the way of race officials, track workers or camera operators.
  • Cross the track only at the marked media crossings, and never during competition, practice included.
  • If you absolutely have to cross a live track, cross only where you can do it safely without getting in the way, and only when it's safe.

You get a media track access map with the crossing points at the media safety meeting on race day. Credentials are granted at the sole discretion of ThrottleCross and can be revoked at any time without notice.
